In the final 2 paragraphs of this interesting story on the Dome F1 car, it mentions a game in which the Dome was included (the car used was based on the Dome F105.)

A quick google search for F1 GP Nippon provides a few sites which are selling the game but it is all reviewed in Japanese and a lot are Japanese websites. Is this game available in a European version or was it sold only in Japan? If it was only sold in Japan, I'm guessing that even if I bought it online, the region code for Japan would mean it wouldn't work on a European gaming system (i.e European version of PS2?)

Europe and Japan use the same DVD region code (region 2), Japan however uses the NTSC encoding system compared to the PAL system used in Europe so the game will probably not work on a PAL PS2

I think that game could be the 1996 upgrade of Grand Prix 2 by Microprose, at least fan-made carsets from 1996 to 1998 included the Dome into the group of cars, since they need to fill the gap of 26 entries imposed by the game engine.
