I don't support/not support this proposition.
Suppose it was applied in 2008.
Massa gets six gold medals & 97 points, while Hamilton had five gold medals & 98 points. Massa wins because his gold-count is greater than Hamilton's. Likewise, I say the top-six should earn points (10-6-4-3-2-1) & the top 10 teams are entitled to extra prize money. Likewise I'd say that an engines can be changed every race so that the racers will push much harder.
