Every year without fail at least one Christmas card arrives at every house and nobody can work out who senders Dave & Marg (insert your own choice of names) are.

Perhaps you can work it out by New Year, but usually not.

Seriously, why send cards to people who don't really know who you are?

It doesn't happen to me, maybe my social life is not as exciting.... :dozey:

I get used to paying for everything I have received. Once I received greeting card for my holiday I will do the same to give the sender the same card. If they have different holiday than mine I will try to send it out and arrive them on their holiday.

It is not a matter who sent the card, whether or not we know them personally, but more about better social life to always take and give, give them back for everything taken. I don't see problem with it. imo
