Counter-clockwise, 20 turns, a combination of all circuits. Am putting it to design!

Turn 1: (Imola)

Old Imola with the old Tamburello-corner going all the way up


Turn 2: (Spa Francochamps)

Rather than Tosa, you come to the Eau Rouge, and continue accelerating all the way to the identical Les combes (turns 7-8 at Spa)

Turn 3: (Istanbul Park)

The turn 7 to turn 8 (the tricky 8) of the Istanbul GP

Turn 4: Proceed to turns 9, 10, 11, 12 of Istanbul Park configuration

Turn 9: (Shanghai International Circuit)

turns 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16

Paddock Hill bend -> Carner Curves -> Eau Rouge -> Karussell ->Fuji pit straight ->Corkscrew -> 130R -> Parabolica

May need some modification but basically a Turkish GP/Chinese GP hybrid with the more dangerous aspects of the Spa-Francochamps & San Marino/Imola tracks.

Turn 1: Bahrain - Turn 1, a tight hairpin for overtaking purposes.

2: Shanghai - final corner, leading into long straight

3: Silverstone - Copse (turn 1)

4: Magny Cours- Estoril bend (turn 2-3), follows soon after Copse

5: Spa-Francorchamps - La Source, after a short straight.

6: Hungaroring - Turn 2

7: Imola - Rivazza 1 (after long straight)

8: Imola - Rivazza 2

9: Monaco - Tabac corner

10: Monaco - Casino Square

11: Magny-Cours - Nurburgring chicane (after short straight)

12: Montreal - Hairpin (after medium straight)

13, 14, 15, 16 - Turkey - 'Turn 8' grouping. (After short straight)

17: Interlagos - Turn 6 (after short straight) then you miss out the slow turns 7, 8 and also 9

18: Interlagos - Turn 10 (Pinheirinho)

19: Interlagos - Turn 11 (Mergulho)

20: Montreal - Chicane (turns 3-4) (into long start/finish straight) a great corner through which a good line is essential when attacking and defending onto the pit straight.

My circuit is a mix of the traditional and the modern with a few clear overtaking opportunities.

I was almost going to say that Lewis's track has 7 or 8 of my corners in it :)

Based on the opinions I've heard about what is and is not a good race track, I've determined that a satisfactory track cannot be designed in only two dimensions.

I reckon that tracks should be extended to 15km, but to remain within those parameters. I miss the 'good old days' when circuits could vary in size.
