Announced at the PuT Award evening on Saturday was that the Pick Up Truck Championship will be returning to Croft and Oulton Park in 2009. :)

CALENDAR DATES PICKUP TRUCK RACING 2009 (Provisional)
ROUND VENUE DATE
1 - 2 BRANDS HATCH MARCH 28/29
3 - 4 ROCKINGHAM APRIL 18/19
5 - 6 CROFT MAY 2/3
7 - 8 OULTON JUNE 20
9 - 10 ROCKINGHAM JULY 18/19
11 - 12 THRUXTON AUG 15/16
13 - 14 ROCKINGHAM AUG 22/23
15 - 16 ROCKINGHAM SEP 5/6
17 - 18 PEMBREY OCT 17/18
19 - 20 BRANDS HATCH OCT 31/NOV 1

As you can see four rounds at Rockingham, four rounds with the BTRA trucks at Brands x2, Thruxton and Pembrey. There was also the teaser of the possibility of another of Sonny's wildcard meetings.

Looks like I'm going to have to find some new B&B's.

i guess croft is pushing it for some though... i SUPPOSE i can make croft :D

Croft isn't THAT far......... its only around 6 hours if you don't stop and no traffic on the motorways from my house........ saying that, it took me 5 hours to get to the last Rockingham since there were delays on all the motorways I normally travel on. :P

Croft looks good, we went up for 2 meetings this year....brother-in law lives close by (free accomadation)
There all football fans however we took them along, now there hooked.
Usual saying from non motorsport fans....it,s totally different to telly is,nt it.
This will be another good meeting and well worth 6 hours each way.....(if the price of fuel dosnt rise)
Look forward to it, and i belive the layout will lend itself to very close racing...

To be brainwashed you need a brain.... to be a marshal however.... you have to get that item removed!!!

You must have had both grey cells removed then Bob :) Isn't that why drivers carry their helmets in a bag or box; so that they can take out the helmet, replace it with their brains and then protect the empty hole in their skulls with the helmet.

Too late for me.... had the "marshal" operation 10 years ago.... that's why I'm silly enough to be a driver now!!!!!!
