When you consider that you need £150K to by ONE Mosler MT900R, it's bargain.

But in these days of scary bank dealings, who's going to take a gamble....

whats slightly irritating is why are the advertised as an ideal racing school car, why cant tehy sell them individually so people can get them back racing?

ME!

Seriously, you could almost start your own series with that amount of kit. Someone start passing the hat round!

the cars not worth any think in england.u car buy a car for 8k or less

they would of been worth more if he'd of put those cars on track last year when they needed numbers.

Or the year before that.......

But alas, broken for spares, they're worth that much.

Selling them as a complete package makes them attractive for a racing school, though I can't see them going anywhere. Gavin tried that almost two years back, and the deal didn't happen in the end.

Had I got the dosh, and the space, I'd have them. And break them!

it may be just me tell me if i'm wrong but how on earth can you have one of the v8s in your garage, shed, workshop or whatever and not race it, i just don't get it.

Yup, You're wrong!
I've got a passport sitting in my cupboard, but haven't been away for months... Family and food come first, and if i did have a racecar sat in the garage, it would have been sold (or broken) by now.

That's the bottom line. Loot on the chute.

The other issue is having a series to run it in that is worth doing. it's all well and good just turning up and going around, but some of us want to be part of something better (how it used to be).

I have an Autograss Class2 Mk2 Escort sitting in my yard. It hasn't turned a wheel in years, and it's next trip on the trailer is to the scrap yard.

Then there's my Nova GSi Modified Production Saloon. It's an "unfinished business" job, and when I get time, I'll finish developing it.

Not to mention the Chevy Lacetti that's waiting for the disc cutter and welder to be turned into a V8 RWD "Thundersaloon" style endurance racer..... With no ASCAR at Rockingham, this project has moved further up the queue.

All of which are subject to £SD.

i doubt ascar will be at rockingham again and if i recall and a few others will remember to how much you enjoyed cadwell. As for passsorts a holiday is a lot cheaper than buying a race car so you can't compare that. I just don't see why you would buy a race car and put it in the garage to be forgot about and not race it.

I'd swap the westfield sitting in my garage for one!

I'll give the boy his due Tractor, he's keen.

And yes, I enjoyed Cadwell. I always enjoy Cadwell. Not a boys circuit, no!

And a race car is for life. A holiday is (for) Christmas.

£125k+vat = £187500 (from Monday at least), hmm they'll fly at that price I think not. He'd be better off breaking them himself :(
