As much as I hate animal torture, they live for human make a food. But it doesn't seem right to call them terrorist.
We used to do that in the closing night of boyscout jamboree, roasted goat with cheese, onion or thyme was a good appetizer. :lips:

Would have gone to a display tonight, but going to one on saturday now. Why do people decide to move the date to the nearest Saturday?!? I bet it rains at the weekend now.

We don't do Pies, Pea's and Parkin for Bonfires in the Black Country although they do from my somewhat limited research between Derby and Leeds. :s

I went to the rolling of the flaming tar barrels in Ottery St. Mary last night (it's dried out since last weeks flooding). Nice adrenaline packed evening with a few photos of stuff on fire.

Derail... rerail!

Remember remember the fifth of November
The Gunpowder Treason and Plot
I see no reason, why the Gunpower Treason
Should ever be forgot

The above links to a video to show what would have happened if Guy Fawkes had in fact succeeded. Apart from blowing up a lot of really cool stuff, King James VI of Scotland (James I of England) would have been killed as well as most of parliament.

What I want to know is what would have happened in the ensuing political vacuum considering that within 50 years, England would be ravaged by civil war, puritans and other religious layabouts racked off to America and James himself and parliament were continually broke.

Would America had as we know it have had been created without the 1611 Authorised Bible? Would Charles I been effective at all considering he would have ascended the throne at only age 5? Would the ensuing anti-catholic sentiment led to something... weirder?
What of it all?
