Last weekend we did what was best about the two decades.
This week it's what was worse

The 80s gave us Yuppies, rancid grey suits with pink candy stripe shirts and Phil Collins going it alone :s

The 90s saw one person's death in a French car crash change the way our media cover things forever - and not in a good way :( They also gave us Yuppies diving out of windows and their follow-up, the made-public Fat Cat bonus.

I'm still undecided on which was worse of the two :)

I'd say it sparked a more alternative scene ;)

I thought it increased overall music sales and added growth to the non-arena tours all over the country.

Either way, Britpop was okay in places.

The 80's made the 90's look like the 70's.

Except for it being when Political Correctness was born, the 80's rocked... hard! :s mokin:

The 80s gave us Formula One cars powered by engines smaller than a bottle of Coke but ripped to the tits in terms of boost.

The 90s gave us Sky and the creation of the Premier League which has seen far more money go into the sport than the GDP of several small nations. Whilst this is a good thing in theory, only Man U, Arsenal, Chelsea and Blackburn have managed to win the title, and the same familiar names keep on cropping up.
