David Ragan wrecked his #6 Roush Ford in Saturday morning's 1st practice at Martinsville Speedway
he will now go to a backup car & drop from his 13th starting position to the rear of the field
Ragan's team put the engine from the primary car into his backup car after final practice
(Ragan was 14th fastest in his backup car during final practice)

That was the least of his problems today.

ok, here is an impression. Who's this? I know these are hard online, because you can't do the accent, but I bet you will get it.
Here goes. Ready?
Can I park it now?
No sir.
Well ok, but if I get hurt.......... thanks a lot.
Arrrrghh --- I nearly fell off the sofa. What did Dale say? You have to suck it up? Brilliant.
NOTE: May not be exact quote, but for those who saw it, you get the idea.
How polite was that "No sir" ? Great stuff.

OK, parking the car to force a yellow was stupid but looks like real desperation on Kyle's part. Nothing is going right for Kyle in the Chase.
Tough break, anyone else feeling sorry for him these days, or is it just me?

Mods - I started a thread regarding Kyle Busch's problems in the Chase for discussion not just his problems in Martinsville.

Had Kyle not become so arrogant and cocky this season with his success, I might have but at this moment.............NO

I find he mellowed quite a bit. It seems the heat of the Chase we have old-Kyle back to the fore.
At least with Kyle what you see is what you get. I find Carl Edwards two-faced. He likes to put on the charm offence making out he's a cool customer and then pulls some stunt thinking the cameras have finished rolling. Perhaps it shows how drivers are schooled in PR these days and media scrutiny is much more intense.
