Sims forum doldrums

I've been visiting this forum for 4+ (or is it 5+?) years now, and the number of offline championships is at its lowest point that i can recall, despite the release of the PS3 and XBox360 platforms.

What has happened? I'm guessing the new racing titles available aren't so great (DiRT and the race thing from codemasters).

Seems not too long ago I was struggling to kep the pace with 4 champioships at one time...(TOCA2, TRD2 V8s and DTM, CMR2 WRC).

A pity.....

plus I think most people play online now

I finally got online and it's really a blast.

I think it's a combination of people being online and no really great new games coming along

I think its because the latest Race Driver game was just appalling. More games now are arcade style games to cater for the mass audiences. We need sim games for a good forum championship.
