I live in England and I wish to watch the USA soccer (football) teams play regularly, now I don't really know much about football so can someone please tell me where I can watch the USA matches every time they play? Is there a a place on Virgin Media to watch it? If not what web site can I use to watch it?

Thanks if anyone get's back to me.

I have a mate who is obsessed with American Football. I know he watches it over here. I'll ask him and get back to you.

American Football as with NASCAB's I tend to watch when I can't sleep in the middle of the night on channel 5. There is also a channel on Sky where it shows American sports but you have to pay for it. I've not subscribed to it so I couldn't recommend it.

Here is my mates reply...

sky sports show 3 games on a sunday night starting at 6pm. they also usually have a choice of alternative games via red button. they also show monday night games, and have extra coverage on thanksgiving and christmas. they also show NFL total access almost everyday, a highlight show and America's, Game (documentary).

Basically, if he aint got Sky he's screwed!

Sometimes Channel 5 show games, but not every week."

Hope this helps.

erm..isn't he asking about proper football (soccer for him) and not NFL?

I am not sure if Fox Soccer Channel is available in the UK, but if it is then you can definitely catch the MLS on it.

My advice is to not watch any MLS and just watch MOTD instead. The football is a much higher standard compared to the American leagues.

If you are desperate to watch MLS then Channel 5 probably show something in the middle of the night (check http://www.five.tv)

I didn't watch soccer, let alone American football, so I am totally behind to plead ignorance of it. :)

Oh right, the national side then :) Wouldn't have thought it'd be on TV because no one gives a f*** about the US, especially their football team.

Probably best to find a football forum based in america (probably an MLS one would be best) and ask on there if anyone knows of internet sites. My brother was living in Toronto and really wanted to see our home team play a game and within about 2 hours of posting a message on a forum I had about 3 links to sites that would be streaming the game.

The only way you're going to find the US national team would be on football review programmes, but you wouldn't get the whole match. Maybe try Eurosport or Sky sports too..
