#84 is only 14 owner's points from the 77. Penske not going to be a happy camper if Hornish is back to qualifying on speed.

Going to my first cup race tomorrow... usually the family goes on Saturday and hub/son do the cup race as a father/son deal... unfortunately (for him - not me!) our son has to work tomorrow so I get to go! Looks like great weather - about 25 degrees cooler than last year's Labor Day weekend meltdown so I'm already excited!

Depending on who Penske signs for #12, it might be best all around for Newman to jump to #66 with a few races to go in '08.

I could be wrong, but based on today's results I believe the 77 is now out of the top 35 in owners points and will have to qualify to get into next week's race. Allmendinger has been running top-15s and top-20s while Hornish has been hovering around the 30s.

There's a difference on Hornish's finishing position between Foxtrac & Nascar.com. (only a couple of spots), but I make #77 in 36th with 1893 OP behind #7 with 1911. #84 jumped to 31st with 1935.

bump up then lurk Tammy bought a new book recently entitled "What Twenty Million American Women Want." Seeing the title, Doug grabbed the book out of her hand and started thumbing through (翻看)the pages. Astonished and not just a little bit irritated, Tammy stared up at him and said, "What in the world are you doing?" Doug replies, "I just want to see if they've got my name spelled right."
