slightly o/t nascar at rockingham

in last night's sky nascar coverage, keith huewen asked paul cherry if he knew anything about rumours of nascar at rockingham. cherry's reply was that there have been talks about rockingham, lausitz and bahrain but didn't flesh it out.

just rumours or are talks ongoing and if so which nascar series?

if anything happens at all, i'm sure it wont be the cup series. i remember reading somewhere before about a new international NASAR series, but that was while they were developing the COT and deciding what to do with the old cup cars. now of course, most old style cup cars have been sold to ARCA teams.

perhaps the current Nationwide cars could be used since they are developing a new car for that series?
