Only money for WRC's, no speed. But it is good to see them. Peter Merksteijn Junior is ok, but young. It is very good he can drive a WRC from now on.

and they come with 7x WRC including 6x Focus

Argh. I count Gareth's Focus by the other 5 Dutch cars.
5 Dutch Focus are right.

I don't think Gareth comes to Germany, but let's see and wait.

Still, I wonder if anyone of them can beat Jasper van den Heuvel. Nice to see the interest though :)

I think this is brilliant news. Meeke will add some much needed spice to Juniors. Ogier vs. Meeke.... two french manufacturers :bomb:

Could be nice fight indeed, but i don't expect Meeke's Renault Clio will be as good as Ogier's Citroen C2. But let's hope that i am wrong and we could have a major fight for victory. Meeke certainly deserves it.

I have some questions some of you might be able to answer.

1.) Will Gareth Jones's Focus be run by Ramsport like last year? - if no, then what team? (Dom Buckley?)

2.) Which team will run the Focus's of Rene Kuipers and Dennis Kuipers?

3.) Which team will run the Skoda Fabia for Harry Kleinjan?

Thanks in advance :)

1. I can't give you an answer on this one, probably it will be Ramsport car, but i am not sure about this.

2. It is Wevers rallyteam that are running both these Focus's

3. It is his own team (Team Kleinjan) that will run the car

No wildcard entries in JWRC, shame!
Why? Under 28year old driver with FWD car not found in Germany? Is Niegel "the lonely wolf"? (Maybe money issues, that´s main problem here in Finland)

Apparantly they have lost their "priority 2" on their entry. Do you know why?

I think FIA don't give them that status. But I don't know why Wevers hold it. Some rules I don't understand.

I think 'Priority 2' is given to drivers who has got a top 10 on a similar rally and Wevers did have 'Priority 2' in the last two years where he competed in Rally Germany.

I recall that Gareth McHale got 'Priority 2' for all gravel rallies but didn't get it on tarmac.

Martin Prokop was testing for Deutschland. He hit a roe. Fortunately without reasonable damage to the car. He complained about Citroën's attitude to privateers when having their own driver - Ogier. He said Citroën gave them almost no support in the moment. He also said he would not continue in JRC. Most probably he would do PWRC in S2000 car next year waiting for S2000+.

Question:

According to Crash.net, then Duval's Focus will be run by R-Tec in Germany and not M-Sport. I was unaware that a teams could score manu points with two differnet teams (Galli in M-Sport and Duval with R-Tec). Has this been done before?

And was R-Tec also running Duval's car in Monaco?

http://www.crash.net/motorsport/wrc/new ... many?.html (http://www.crash.net/motorsport/wrc/news/167500-0/duval_the_'dark_horse'_in_germany?.html)

"In the past I have had some very good results here in Germany and this year I am in the championship winning car so hopefully this can continue," said Duval, who will be co-driven by Patrick Pivato in his R-Tec Motorsport run Focus RS WRC07."
