It's amazing that as bad as the Red Bull Team ran last year that Brian Vickers is now 15th in the points standings.

It was quite an impressive front that moved in! My group left the stands before the mad rush, but still took over an hour to get out of the lot. It was a scene right out of movie, the sky turned jet black in a matter of minutes and everybody was running in fear and panic as the front moved over the track. The other dissappointing thing that happened was that a lot of the displays were shut down early due to fear of lightening.

The part that had us a little confused was that they were still trying to dry the track and cars were still being pushed into pit lane to go back out right up to the point of the storm. We were watching the radar on a crackberry and knew it was coming. We just figured that the money spent to dry the track was made up in beer sales since it encouraged everybody to stick around instead of heading home.

I have to say, the traffic patterns to get out of the lots had to be the worst I have ever experienced. We beat the main rush but still took over an hour to get out of the smaller lot by the main gate (the one with the handicap parking) really frustrating when you only live 10 minutes away and drank all the beer during the first rain delay. Did make for some interesting moments as fights were breaking out between people in the lot trying to cut each other off to get out. I saw more than one instance where drivers (and friends) were out of their cars and in each others faces.
