Having seen the above pic, I googled and found that our Kiwi friends do have a wizard of massive fame: http://www.wizard.gen.nz/raindance.html

Definitely worth the time to read.

If it's medium to heavy rain noone's going to see a thing through Woodcote through to Stowe.

I tried that feed once and the constant lag and buffering drove me bonkers :p :

What we want is heavy showers. Perhaps you can hop hard on one foot?

Interestingly, at this race Raikkonen can equal Alberto Ascari's still standing record of fastest laps in six successive races.

Last time I sat at Copse for the GP was in 1998 when the heavens well and truely opened and Schumacher won in the pitlane. After 9 years of sitting at other places I've decided to make a return to Copse. Please don't tell me its going to rain like it did that day.....I dont want to get soaked to the skin.

Is there a race this year that hasnt had a prediction of rain?
Yep, in Oz.

To be fair, it has rained on race day for most races this year. Just not at times that have affected the race.

Monaco was wet, and brilliant.

France was ever so slightly slippery towards the end, which livened it up.

Rain is brilliant.

on Dial-up?

Yes, there is about a 10-15 seconds delay, but I am yet to experience any buffering. For those of us who don't need to see "HD" badges all over our TV set just to watch a race live, it's quite good actually.

So much for rain, I'm roughly about 70 miles away from Silverstone and its absolutely bakeing ...well by British standards anyway. :)
