Unfortuantely the speed traps are rarely located at the very fastest point of the circuit e.g. Thruxton has one out back goign into Church, around 135 mph from memory and as Derek Warrick said to me in 2001 at a test - in his accent that I'm afriad I cannot place- "And they're enot even in sixth gear there."

Snetterton is prob the fastest reading over the year, if maybe not the circuit with the fastest top speed (I beleive that is afore-mentioned Thruxton.)

Probably the run into the chicane would be Thruxton's fastest point?

ive always wondered which was fastest out of snetterton and thruxton for top speed. Thruxton has a very fast corner leading onto a long up hill climb while snet has a slow corner leading onto what seems like a longer straight.
