Johnny Sauter back in the #70 ...
could Haas have figured out that it is the car that is lacking & NOT the driver :?:

Jason Leffler didn't help much with a DNQ & 40th place finish (can't blame him for the other DNQ which was a rain out field set by owner points). I expect Max to be back in the car at Watkins Glen.

Sauter should have told Haas to go howl at the moon :p
Sauter was a Haas driver last year but Haas fired him

the rain robbed Tony Stewart and several other drivers
having a fast car means nothing when the rain ends a race

Noticed second place made more money than first. Can't think of the reason.

It wasn't just 'rain' that caused the interesting result.
It took a car running out of fuel, being hit, causing a caution. A lot of cars giving up track position by pitting for fuel and the lead car's bad call taking extra time for right side tires. Followed by the restart, where a hard headed lapped car fought with the race leader almost taking them both out, which probably caused drivers to check up which caused a crash that brought out the last caution. Under which two hot headed drivers got into it wrecking both. Then it rained. ;-)

Yep contingency money, the little stickers on the front guards, Busch has alot less than most people.

Crazy race, would have been alot better if it went the full distace though, lots of different strategies on that last pitstop. How was Juan and Kyle! wasn't real smart of Juan there..
