Rare prehistoric shark filmed... then dies in an aquarium... :mark:

Why did it have to be taken out of its natural environmnent in the first place? :mark:

If the report is to be believed, it had somehow wandered out of its natural habitat anyway. If this is true, it may have been in poor health to begin with.
Most of these peculiar deep-water fish are already ailing badly when they are discovered in shallow water.
If its habitat is even vaguely understood, surely the best thing to do for it would have been to release it in deeper water. With cameras being as advanced as they are now, it could be observed there if people wanted to learn more about it.
