Are there any F! games which can be played on the PC which have a lot of up-to-date downloads.

Rallying has CMR2 which can be updated to the 2008 season. F1 doesn't seem to have any games which have 2008 cars or drivers availible or downloadable.

Help appreciated - if any can be given!

Rfactor and F1 Challenge, although it's harder to find newer updates for F1 Challenge

I'm not sure about current updates but I know Grand Prix 3 and Grand Prix 4 have had quite a lot of downloads available in the past. Not sure about that now though.

I've downloaded the demo for GTR2 and it is 'shuddery' and I can't click on things easily. The speed is really slow. And the graphics look terrible compared to the screenshots.

Is this because its a demo, or because my PC is too slow/bad?

Can anyone who owns the game tell me if it lives up to the hype, and whether I will be able to play it on a 4 year old PC.

And can someone tell me if the F1 2008 downmload from Blackhole Motorsports is worth using if I am able to play GTR2.

Hmm, well yeah a pc 4 years old might struggle with it. I'd say you need at least a 2ghz CPU and a 256mb gfx card to run it even half decently and then forget about night racing and wet weather. I had to upgrade mine to a 2.2ghz dual core with a 512mb gfx card before I could run with rain and night time. But yeah its a brilliant game, better than rFactor by miles IMO
