In 2008 we have seen a lot of driver errors and actually I don't remember so many mistakes from any season I've seen so far. I guess the ban of driver aids (TC, rear-end eletronical stabilisator, etc) play a vital role here. In terms of raw pace there actually isn't much difference compared to last seasons - drivers are as quick as we have used them to see. But the amount of some drivers' mistakes does make even the "best days'" highly-criticized Sato look like a steady driver. I take into account the mistakes of qualis and races like spins, "walls", which with drivers lose at least a lot of seconds. Also collisions have been included, but if it's difficult to identify, whose fault a collision has been, then all the participants have been added. Small mistakes like Kubica in Australian quali aren't included, coz then the counting of mistakes would become quite impossible... :p :

Let's take a look:
Räikkönen
Australia (2 errors)
Monaco (2)

Massa
Australia
Malaysia
Monaco (Ste Devote)

Hamilton
Bahrain (2)

Canada

Kovalainen
Turkey (in Turn1 he was probably at least partly to blame)
Canada

Heidfeld
Flawless? Wow!

Kubica
According to my criteria Australian Q doesn't count, so kudos to BMW guys!

Alonso
Monaco (2)
Canada

Piquet
Australia (Turn1)
Spain (2)
Monaco
Canada

Rosberg
Malaysia
Monaco (3)
Canada

Nakajima

Canada Q + GP?

Coulthard
3 collisions (Aus, Bah, Esp), although in the last one he wasn't the one to blame
Monaco (Q + GP)

Trulli
Canada (Q - 3 spins)

Glock

Spain
Monaco (3 spins)

Button

Barrichello

Fisichella

Surely all the errors haven't been mentioned, so tell if something is missing.

Who is the Errormaster of 2008?
