if anyone picks up and reads the June 5th autosport, it wont be good reading for Alantics and shows to me how out of touch T. George is with single seater racing in the states.
As T.G santioned them for this year but wont be after this year as he believe indylights should only be the supporting act feeder series for IRL.

So inexperienced drivers go from what mazda series straight into a INDY lights car if they want to go single seaters in the states ? Can you imagine the size of bugets etc and lack of experience but he reckons better to have a bigger field as be good training and better for promotors of the tracks etc.

To me this shows that we going to have the same problems as before, as im sure the reason why doesnt want alantics was because it was aligned to champcar.
We need a professional feeder series from say mazda's to alantics to lights to IRL if we going to get quality young talented USA drivers through.
I mean look at F1, although there different single series through the list im going to name the basic concept still exists.
ff1600, formula 3. GP2, too F1. you can see the natural progression of a driver and his talent.
Where can you see the next crop of IRL drivers coming from after the kanaan's, castro, wilsons retire or move on to different series or the ones in the lights series this year.
