I planned it out, did my research and had it all ready for the phonecall from my O2 about my contract renewal and upgrade. I had plans.. BIG plans not to pay a penny more than I was already, get more for my money AND get a specific phone.

Well... I got the phone... but I'm paying a fiver a month more than I was before! :eek:

I was doing really well until he started pressuring me for an answer there and then... I folded. Fortunately my other half is going to sort it out for me and get me a better deal. :rolleyes:

With T-Mobile I told them to either give me a better deal or my PAC so I could change networks. After a bit of "we don't do that sort of thing" they put me through to retentions who gave me 25% off my line rental, a 12 month contract instead of 18, and the phone for free instead of £40. :D

awesome Dave! This is what I wanted to be like... but I completely failed.

I've managed to get a better, cheaper deal... but I'm having to send the phone back for them to send me exactly the same one to me again. Ridiculous!
