Does anyone else think that this FIA campaign is unnecessary and stupid? I find it pretty embarrassing that the FIA feel the need to tell the world how fantastically non-racist they are. Especially since the 8 Spanish fans were not being racist in the first place.

What a massive beat-up.

Given the over a million fans attend the races and tests over the course of a season, even if those 8 Spaniards were racist it's still a storm in a teacup - one which was dealt with swiftly and efficiently at the time by the circuit.

This campaign is just the FIA wanting to be seen doing the right thing, whether that thing is necessary or not.

It's ironic that an anti-racism campaign should start amid debate and gossip over Max's alleged "Nazi" orgy
