I received an email Sunday night from Bonnie Castoro, Paul "Speedbump" Castoro's mother. It was very touching and I asked her permission to share it with the rest of you.

Today I am watching the race from Long Beach. Their are so many new
names and very few old timers that I recognized...Tracy &Vasser.
I guess there has been many changes for the teams and I hope it
all works out. I wish Paul could have been here as Long Beach was
his favorite.
I want to tell you how grateful I am for you and Polly in gathering up all
the condolences and making them into booklet form. I look at it all the
the time and show it off to everybody. I hope you will continue to do
this when other forum members pass away. It truly is a treasure.
I am doing well and trying to stay busy. I have two grandsons,
who will be graduating this June. One from UC Berkeley (CAL)
and one from high school. Where does the time go?
I Hope Paul and his Dad got to watch Long Beach Grand Prix from
their lofty heights.
Bonnie
As some of you may remember when Paul passed away, I assembled all the messages of condolence from this forum and added some pictures to it that Polly provided. I then printed it out and mailed it to Paul's mom. It's nice to see that our thoughts still touch her life. She and all the rest of us sure miss Speedbump. RIP buddy.
