Might as well start one.......weepers in Turn 4 delaying the start and it's about 50 degrees ambient.....supposed to go at 25 past the hour....wherever your "hour" is, but it's awful late in Indy! :)

Well, for the moment....still weepers in Turns 2 and 4 apparently.

I gave it an hour and it's still wet so I'm switching over to "Battle 360" on History channel. It dawns on me there's irony in that.

Doubt they have any rain tires there.....they're already talking about tomorrow. Those are serious weepers and I've never seen 'em length-wise before ("longitudinal," Barnhart said).

I'm not sure which part of that to correct first.

I thought it was on Saturday night here in the US until I saw this thread. I'll have to play closer attention to the TV listings I suspose. IC or someone else who has been a IRL follower, what is the reasoning with having Saturday races this time of year? I know why it happens in the fall, but why now?

It is a Saturday race over there for this reason, so if there is a rain delay they have a make up date.

I got caught out by this also until the TIVO booped. TSN Canada has the race listed from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM? A 90 minute race? Boxing is filling in? TSN will probably end up do what? Show it at midnight? Show it on their alternate feed? Drop it altogether?

gofast has the best reason I know, DBell....same reason they actually started the Brickyard 400 on Saturday, to have a rain day. Now it's on Sunday with the new TV deal though.

I'm going to guess it's going to be simulcast with ESPN Classic U.S. on TSN's alternate feed at 10:00 PM.

OK, this makes some sense, being an overseas race, but Homestead was on a Saturday wasn't it? It just seems to me the fans would get more out of a race weekend if the race is on Sunday.
