The Asia Pacific Rally Championship has started in New Cal. Katsuhiko won the opening two stages, the Super 2000 Punto is doing pretty well too.

Lecerf in the Punto WAS doing well, slipped off the road in SS3.
Katsu seems in control at the front, good battle so far between Pedder and the two Cusco cars for second, with Jean-Louis not far behind.

Well, it seems both Pedder and Yanigasawa fell off the road on the long and very slippery 35km SS12, this morning.
With Jean-Louis dropping back a bit, Dean Herridge would be wise to take it steady on the second pass this afternoon. If he can bring the Cusco car home in second place it will be a great result for his APRC and Rallye de Nouvelle Caledonie debut!
