suggestions for my first Indy 500

I am going to my first Indy 500 this year with my dad. We are driving out on Thursday the 22nd. We have tix for the race, parking, and Carb. day. Our tix for the race are in the tower terrace about 1/3 up, row Z. Any suggestions on what to do while we are there or what to avoid? I am excited for my first 500 so any suggestions would be appreaciated!!!

What about tix on stubhub for the drivers meeting on saturday? is that worth $23/tix????

I think it is. $23 is nothing these days and meeting your favorite driver exceeds that value by far. There's also a great pub called Alcatraz in downtown Indianapolis.
