Where is Manfred Stohl ?
any news about him ? I have heard that he is going to enter IRC in Toyota S2000 !!

Stohl is still developing natural gas powered Mitsubishi, according to this article. Jani Paasonen is helping in it's development and may use it on next years Finnish championship.

maybe you are right, but I have read, that only these 3 developers, which I´ve mentioned above, have a "official order from Subaru"

according to this article Manfred Stohl will start at Rallye Portugal in May with a Peugeot 207 S2000.
all money comes from the event organisation; also for Duval and for Auriol !!!

I think it is a good idea from the Portugeese if it is true.

Found an interesting interview of austrian driver Anders Wimmer in http://www.motorline.cc/rallye/index.php :)

In fact, Wimmer and Stohl want to create an austrian team and run with two Bozian whales on WRC09 !!! :D

If its true...
307s are 2005 spec,all the WRC cars will 2009 spec by then and private teams will use 2008 spec cars.That is a 4-5 years difference...

It will be great to see him back. The Peugeots are the only cars that have fitted him, 2005 was a great year of his so driving the 307 might be the best for him. It's an old car so he will never fight for the top im afraid, but great to have him back anyway! We did'nt see his right potential last year i think...

Good that they want to create an Austrian team, but....... why the hell if you can find the money!!! Spend it at old cars from the past and not in the future?

They're going to be beated also by Rautenbach easily ... I don't think it's a smart move to take the old Pug, but maybe it's the cheapest car since Mitsu retired all the Lancer :p

according to this article (in german) the arrangment for season 2009 is nearly fixed by 90% !
wimmer/stohl just do not know, how many rounds they will do - but try to get the money for 10 rounds, to drive as "manufacturer - team"

I hope that when Stohl finishes driving he continiues as manager, he is very good in getting the money for driving.
