I'm not trying to cause an argument, just voicing an opinion.

There are many other aspects that seem to be slowly knitting the blended fabric of Indycar and Champcar.

So let's go racing!!

Yeah, they definitely could've done a better job with that livery.

I've seen worse though.

That M is placed pretty awful. Not a very well thought out livery.

I think it looks better from above / the TV angle....

its the save livery sebass had last year (designed by goobers over at ccf).

the M was placed like that onthe panoz and looked just as bad. it needs to be on the sidepod or on the top, not half and half.

I didn't like this design on the Panoz and I don't like it on the Dallara. Only the Golden Arch should be on the sidepod, the McDonald's sign should be on the engine cover below the Honda sign.

Doesn't everyone know what those golden arches mean anyway? Do you really have to write MacDonalds? Wouldn't you had to have lived on another planet not to know what they mean?

It amazes me that McDonalds didn't have some input (or maybe they did?) on making their sponsorship more obvious while less offensive. That said, no matter what series they have sponsored race cars in, the MdDonald's livery has always looked awkward. The Golden Arches just don't look like the logo that looks good at speed, no matter where you put it.

I think they've had some good ones in the past.

And the car was moving slowly enough to read all of the fine print. Just think of what they could do with the racing diesel locomotives!

This came up..and I plucked out these pictures of the dp01

Actually, the dp01 paint for the Macdonald’s car looked quite nice:

And, the new one:

I think it just missing some yellow highlights, but the dp01 paint seems so much nicer...

Give them time...they tweak this over the season...

Maybe some yellow on the leading edges of the wings and sidepods. But not too much! After all, everyone knows red is faster than yellow. Oh, and some flames would be good too. ;)

Red rules for a racing car. IMO the IRL car looks more aggressive and cooler.

I agree They need to swap the M logo with the script McDonalds placed above teh M on the engine cover. The the entire logo will be visible on the side pod and the name will be visible above it.

I thought Tony Kannan's Forsythe McDonalds car looked pretty good, but it was much more colorful and they were promoting their express drive through or something like that at the time IIRC. I think there was also a very large M when viewed from above in a couple versions.

it just needs some yellow, perhaps on the leading edges (such as bottom edge of front wing or somethin) to make it a more dynamic paint scheme. But the big M on the sidepod has to be fixed. this sidepod should just be one big M. maybe put another big 'golden arches' on the engine cover too.

I'd think they'd add the arches onto the top view of the car.
