It'll be the occasion to see many new cars in action(Oreca-Courage, Lola-Aston, Epsilon Euksadi, Porsche RS, WR-Zytek,...) facing the "veteran" ones :D

Qualifying practice is just over !!! :bounce:
The Peugeot 908 No8 driven by Stéphane Sarrazin grab the best time toward the end of the 20mn session, whereas Marc Gené at home on the 908 No7 was second fastest... ;)
Best Audi R10 was the No1 driven by Alan McNish, 3rd fastest , just in front of the Charouz Lola Aston-Martin and the best LMP2 Porsche(driven by Jos Verstappen) :D :D
Then comes the other Audi R10(driven by Alex Prémat)in front of the Oreca of Olivier Panis... ;)

is there a way to watch this live in the US, or should I try and hold out for a torrent/video of the race and try to watch it before reading up on it later?

Saw what I could of it. It was a hard day keeping up with everything with all that was mentioned earlier and WSB too!
Mightily pleased with the new Lola Aston, that was a fabulous start.
Yet again, a series where the GT1 class is not worth mentioning. FIA GT is clearly the preferred place to be for that this year.

A stunning debut for Speedy Racing – Team Sebah B08/80 - Judd and also P1 car !
Second of the LMP2 with the same fastest race lap as the winning RS Spyder for a car that was just "out of the box" !!!
Saw great picture gallery and race report from Sebah's team manger on their website :
