People, I have missed somethign from FIA, and do nto know what is applied form now on regarding groups.
As far as I knew, R2 and R3 were new groups, R2 closer to an N2 (both up to 1600 but with much limited preparation, just a little more than a classic group N), and R3 closer to a A7 (more preparation admited, almost a group A, in this case up to 2000cc).
A little confusing.
I first though this classes would be admitted from jan 1st, 2008.
But I see soem people entrying Super 16000 with R3 Clios................
So, can someone point me any Fia document stating new clases?
Or explain me a little more
Another one: R clases would be a new group?
currently we have:
group N (classic group N 1,2,3 and 4, plus Super 2000 cars classified as in N4)
Group A ("classic group A 5, 6, 7 and 8 + Super 1600 in A6, + Kit cars in A6 or A7, + WRC in A8)
R2 and R3 are new groups ??
