Pretty abysmal performance from everyone. :D
I hope next race isn't such a lottery when trying to come up with picks. :)

Mark, could we make this a sticky for the rest of the week, please. Thanks for your fine effort to give us such a quick result.

Mark
17th March 2008, 09:58
Aye, I'll leave this as sticky for the rest of the season and then change the title as the results are updated.

Mark,

I don't see my result on the Pickem page. I am 100% sure I had made my picks a week prior to the race.. ???

93VTEC
17th March 2008, 14:04
Went looking for it, but it's nowhere to be found. Oh well.

Mark
17th March 2008, 14:06
I have your entry for Malaysia, but nothing for Australia I'm afraid!

Bagwan
17th March 2008, 15:08
The bagwan missed the top of the tables here , catching 3rd place points , and missed the bottom of the sheet by only one in the fantasy series .

Both teams are expecting mid-field finishes .

90th... I picked Ferrari for a 1, 2 finish...lol.
89th here; I also picked Ferrari 1-2. Look at how many people picked Kimi. After yesterday, I'm predicting that many of next week's #1 picks will change. :)

Kevincal
18th March 2008, 01:07
Ya for sure I'm tipping Hamilton for the win again in Malaysia. But I think Ferrari will be back on their game this week, so I'm picking them 2 and 3, Kimi in front of Massa. I bet the Ferrari team is getting almost ZERO sleep this week making absolutely sure everything is perfect.

SkyTom
18th March 2008, 14:40
what a terrible start for me: 84th... must win again this year!

AJP
19th March 2008, 03:43
Top 50 for me...i'm ok with that.. must use my powers to get myself higher

janneppi
19th March 2008, 17:12
Here's how people voted for the Malaysia race.
For example, 40% of voters think Kimi will win, 40% he'll be second, no one thinks Sutil will be second. ;)

Work still in progress to get the chart more readable. :)

Forum seems to think that:
1. Hamilton
2. Räikkönen
3. Kovalainen
4. Heidfeld
5. Massa or Heidfeld
6. Kubica, Alonso or Rosberg
7. Alonso or Rosberg
8. Alonso or Rosberg

1. Räikkönen clear favourite
2. Hamilton
3. Massa
4. Kovalainen
5. Kubica
6. Heidefeld
7-8 Alonso, Rosberg or maybe Trulli

If last race's predictions are anything to go by, Kimi will stuff upp the car and Hamilton wins it. :)

OOG wins! But without choosing Massa! But curry did choose Massa and so vaults 8 places to take over the championship lead.

Massa might get more than the abysmal ten votes for the first place come next race. ;)

I won't say I did "well," but on the other hand it was an all-time high finish for me. Fourth place, and I only had four drivers in points! I don't think anyone picked more than four drivers.

France results are online :)

Not without problems, Valve managed to crash the system by editing his post to include some comments, by rights I should have just deleted his pickems and reran the calculations, but I'm in a good mood :p

You are free to add whatever comments you wish to a pickems thread, however you must do so by making a seperate post, in the normal way. Do not edit your post or it will all go wrong!

I am currently dislocated from a proper computer once again marooned in Scotland.. It should be done next week all being well.

I might overrule the stewards and do the pickems on the actual finishing positions rather that the politically motivated ones!

That would be absolute BS. Why not recalculate all results from the whole season ignoring all drive-though penalties etc. Not forgetting the politically motivated penalty Hamilton got from Canadian GP

Belgium and Italy results are now online. Of course the Belgium results are subject to appeal.

Can I remind everyone that the pickems must be posted using the link provided, writing them in manually will crash the system and it's not fun picking through several pages of pickems trying to find the problem.

I finished 83rd despite missing a hatful of rounds. Not bad. It doesn't look like I would've been in the running to win it all anyway though, unlike as was the case in the WRC competition. :) What a curious reversal on how I fared last season. Well done, Bezza.
