Despite the departure of Sierra Sierra, Dane Cameron has found new light with Genoa Racingat Laguna Seca as he top the time charts over Carl Skerlong in Day 1 of Atlantic testing. Junior Strous, Daniel Morad and James Hinchcliffe wind up in the top 5.

Cameron is certainly looking promising. He'd would be a nice addition to the American ranks in Indy cars in a year or two if he can keep it up.

So far he is impressing Genoa Racing. Cameron and Skerlong are 1-2 again on the last day.

It is too soon to be sure, but he has that potential. He will be IRL material in the US ranks. He is very young, but by the time he reaches to his early to mid-20s, it will be interesting if a GP2 team may call Dane. I love to see Dane in an F1 car in the future.
