What hppens to cosworth?

...like the title ays wha is going on at cosworth, is it now defunct or does indycar own it now it bought champcars assets?

Cosworth was seperatly owned. TG and the IRl have not taken ownership of it.

They have made layoffs in their engine departments but cosworth has been financially stable in other areas for a number of years now and continues to grow outside of the motor racing industry.

I saw a business magazine recently that stated Cosworth was having success expanding into aviation.

Has anyone heard if they will support the Mazda program in Atlantics again this year?

Yeah, I just got word at work today that Cosworth has been selected by the U.S. Navy to work on development of new Heavy Fuel UAV engine technology.
