they need to bring a loads of spare mirrors to Monte...

The dive planes on the bumpers are also being knocked off.

The earlier mirrors were all 3d printed using a high-end carbon polymer which is a lot cheaper than making molds. I'm sure they can make tons of these and have them ready.

I did not make any comparison with other cars, but by itself this Toyota look good to me... no extensive understeer or oversteer, on wet road JML's driving looked confident an the car predictable.

If Citroen miss the snowy/ changeable conditions in testing it's going to be a 2nd year in a row where they've had poor preparations for the Monte.

Also, I've not seen them testing in Sweden yet which would've been beneficial to see how far the car has come/ what the issues still are before focusing purely on fine tuning a good setup. Instead I fear they will only doing 1 day for Meeke and 1 day for Breen the week before the rally due to budget restrictions. They have more issues compared to other teams so have to find ways to catch up...

I've always wondered why testing is restricted to Sweden by the FIA when you could find great snow safe roads
a couple of hours from Oslo instead of around 8 hours inland in Sweden?

If the video was sped up, the sound would be too, would it not? I think it's simply to do with the frame rates of the device recording. Didn't this accusation go round and round on the forum last year until we were able to see the current spec cars in person?

It's not certain if the filmer did it on purpose, could be just a misunderstanding between current youtube algoritm and his camera model. Youtube converts EVERY clip sent to it and uploaders shoot it many different codecs, resolutions and frames per second and youtube tries to unify them at some standart which is a subject of constant development. And yeah, this video is definitely unreally faster, if someone can't figure it out from the beginning (exit from corner at 0:18 for example) he should spend 1000 more hours in watching, analyzing and comparing WRC videos.

Has Seb tested on Snowy conditions like the Toyota's, Hyundai's and Evans have so far?

Citroen haven't either (so far) and this Monte looks like it's going to have very tricky conditions again.

It wasnt intended to be like a basic fan cam vid. But if this quality is possible by amateurs then the pros should be able to produce the same for WRC tv. It would certainly impress the average person and make them want to watch more and maybe become fans.

Competition km`s for a privateer maybe? There`s a huge difference in the level of maintenance, who is doing it etc.
But nothing new imo, as the days are limited. I believe that last year 3. car/ DMack car also got less mileage on PET.

I think you've read a bad joke somewhere... :) I've heard for the later generation of 2L WRC cars it was around 200 euros/km. Sure it hasn't doubled for the first-gen 1.6T WRC cars, as they're less complicated.

Depends whether You count running cost or rental cost. Afaik running cost of R5/S2000 cars used to be around 100 Eur/km when everything was as it shall be so that I believe that it had to be more than 200 Eur/km for WRC cars considering for example the price of engine revision which was roughly 3-4x more for Fiesta WRC (2012) than for Fabia S2000 or the gearbox which had 3x shorter rebuild period.

So compared to the other teams, Meeke and Breen have only had 2 test days each? Unless im mistaken, Meeke has tested only on wet tarmac and damp tarmac. Breen on wet tarmac and damp tarmac - with a few corners of icy conditions?

Turns out they might get lucky with the forecast, but doing fewer test days than everyone else isn't exactly great considering their car needs the most work. And none in proper wintry conditions is a big risk again.

Those are the cars they will run at Monte. So, they have taped up the sides to don't mess the stickers and the bodywork.
