This year's official test site is the Nürburgring. The circuit dates to the 1920's when it was built around the villiage and midieval castel in Nürburg. The original track features three configurations ranging from 28.2 km to 7.7 km (14.3 to 3.9 miles).
The current version, built in 1984, is 5.148 km (3.2 mi) and utilizes only a portion the start/finish straight of the original track.
There will be a DTM Qualifying Kings award agian this season, towards which points from this practice session will be awarded. The top 3 get points (3-2-1). Please post your times here and in the codies HoF.
Rules are simple - anything goes, just keep two wheels on the track at all times! No cheats or boost though.
The practice session will run for two weeks, making times due Monday March 17th. We'll then have a week off before heading over to Hockenheim for Round One.
Below are qualifying results for last year's race here, which was the first round in the 2007 Championship.
