"Insert sponsor here" IndyCar World Series.
And please not "Bla, Bla presents The IndyCar World Series, presented by Bla, Bla in association with Bla, Bla".
I hated when CC was doing that.
The PPG IndyCar World Series always had a nice ring to it.

Oh ... oops I was trying to give props to CCWS formatting the name that way. But you're right it is obnoxious.

There is quite a collection of some of the old PPG Pace Cars sitting in the CCWS garage. How about bringing those out for the 100th birthday of IMS?

Not sure if it is true or still valid, but I heard Firestone had expressed interest in being series sponsor if there was unification.

More than likely, Firestone will be he tire of the series, allowing Bridgestone to maintain their supply deal with F1.

I agree Chris. AT&T have been a war with Sprint/Nextel in NASCAR. Maybe we could get them and a few other cellular companies.
