Exact same points I was going to make Dave. Gave me goose bumps. For a second I thought I was at Rockingham.

good to see someone in the co-presenters seat who has lived oval racing for most of his life and nice to hear about charlotte and the possibility of uk racing.

i know we like to get as much weight to the left hand side of the car for oval racing and i know tv adds a few pounds but has john gone over the top on the "supersize me"?

John will be competing in the Nascar Craftsman Truck Race at Lowe's (Charlotte) on May 16th. That deal is signed. Also John is hoping to compete in some races in the UK in 2008, but this deal is not yet finalised.

Any idea what team he will be driving for and who the sponsor is? There is nothing online about it and the Torquespeed website has no mention of it. All the best though, go out and get a decent finish for us!

He used to do alright on the circuits when he was racing Eurocars & Legends.

Not sure where Quorky gets his information from. John has not signed any deals to race pick ups ( or anything else for that matter ) in the UK. Thats why there is no news on the Torquespeed web site. There will shortly be a press release for the Charlotte Truck race, probably in the next ten days.

In the mean time Quorky, keep smoking that funny stuff.

ferzacktly!

Though I can see John would wish to keep his pennies in the pot market Craftsman Truck Series - it makes much more sense.

Unless someone wishes to buy him to drive a PuT.

Rob.
