I'm building a hydraulic handbrake for a Peugeot 106 Rallye, and if you know what is the easiest solution, that would be great. Also if you have some pictures I would appreciate it.
Thanks a lot! :)

What kind of brake system you have currently in your car? Do you have dual line brakes or not?

The brake lines, and the cylinder are all sorted out... We are just interested how to sort out the handbrake lever, so some pictures of installed handbrakes would be useful to get some inspiration.

Still quite expensive compared to what can be bought elsewhere...

Were u thinking of a vertical or horizontal handbrake? This particular horizontal hydraulic handbrake on the Prefab site http://www.ekmpowershop2.com/ekmps/shops/prepfab1/traditional-alloy-hydraulic-handbrake-kit-59-p.asp can be made vertical simply by removing a circlip and pin, rotating it 180 deg, re=siting the pin to the 2nd slot, re-assembling and adding a spring for a return. My brother did this in his car and saved himself a fair bit of money over the vertical one they also sell.

If you'd like a picture of the vertical carbon fibre one Colin McRae had in his Escort give me your Email and I'll send u a few pics of the cars cockpit. :)

In fact, forget the prepfab one.. I think it may have been this near identical one he bought, its a far more reasonable price. ;) http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/catalog/index.php?cPath=562_599
