WOW, how much is it for a flight over there from Australia?
To see Bjorn Waldegard in action would be worth every cent of it. And hearing the Lancia's note would only add to that pleasure, given that we don't even have WRCars here anymore.

Anyone going to this event? If so please, please take some footage and share it with us all via YouTube or similar!!!

This was the thread I started somewhat earlier
What the new one dosnt tell you is that Stig Blomqvist was already on the entry list in a MK1 Escort! Thanks to Steve Perez we will see Big Bjorn back in a Lancia once again. A week or so after this event is Race Retro at Stoneleigh that will see the Group B cars in action aswell as Markku Alen demonstrating an Escort on the stage. I tell you the future is in the past!

That's it. I'm going to have to ask the wife to spend a little less this month (yeah, that'll happen!) because the UK is calling my name.
Wow, what an event it will be.

Seriously the British Historic Championship of which the Robin Hood is the first round is one of the most hotly contested championships in the UK . This is no demonstration run and to see former World Champions and maybe Jimmy McRae who is currently on the reserve list in the Mansfield forests will be some spectacle.

I'm hoping to be there, and Stoneleigh. Both are about an hour away...

If anyone has a spare seat in their car for this I would be very grateful if it could be offered to me (would be willing to pay a share in the fuel costs) :p I'm a student in Nottingham, so shouldn't be too much of a detour?
Would LOVE to go to this!

It's a shame the night stages are off limits as it was apparantley non rally related people who caused the problems in the car parks a couple of years ago. Anyway if the weather is as good as last year it will be great as the speeds were mighty. Wonder if Bjorn's going to run with the rear bodywork off the Stratos just for old times sake?!

I think my other half and his dad are marshalling this year. I think I will go one of the days but I dont know which yet.
We both went as spectators last year and I really enjoyed it. Two Stratos's this year, I'll be in heaven even if they will probably break down.

Who's in the other Stratos or have I missed something? Gavin Cox was down to drive Steve's car but now BW is driving. Guess I'll have to have another look at the entry list.

I just got back from Clipstone South and jeez was the stage cutting up in places. At one point I really did know how I'd get my little car out. All good fun though.

Hello all,
Every time I see these historics out I am gob smacked at the tackle on show.
Where on earth do they keep finding these mint shells to build these cars. Cracking to watch and I am sure even better to drive!!!

Our pictures will be put on flickr sometime this week. Normally we tag the cars and driver names so if you put a search in on there you might be able to find some.
