The problem that cars is still twice a good as anything Ford has here in the States and they won't sell it here...

The picture you'ev supplied us with was published by Wheels magazine back in August last year (so nice to see that news travels fats in NZ. Psst, I hate to spoil the news but it was Neil Armstrong and not Buzz to step onto the moon first)

The two most likely shots I've seen so far are:

Both of which try to hold the same family resemblance as the 2008 Focus and the 2007 Mondeo.

There is the generic debate about whether the car is going to be built at all, because Ford Australia intends to switch to building the 2011 Focus by which time, the Falcon will simply be too big for the market to support and go the same way as the Mistubishi 380.

The G series is trying to show off some Mondeo/Focus family DNA. I fear that this car will go the way of the 380.

It's pure laziness on their part to do anything new or at least something to differentiate from the Commodore. Some concept cars are born downright ugly, but at least they have something that's bold and different to all before it.
