Personally I don't pay too much attention until the end of January when each team has each of their cars out.

But other people see differently.

Discuss! :D

Toyota were quickest in Barcelona on Friday...but they were the only team there :p :

More seriously, Trulli and Schmacher were very close in laptimes - 0.04s - after a days testing. Either they were running the same programme, or they were testing different things. If it's the former then they're closely matched, and if it's the latter then all the changes made little difference to lap times!!

Really too early to get all lathered up but it is about the only thing happening on any track anywhere. I hate winter.... :) )

I've noticed that people tend to discuss about all the other teams and are optimistic about them, but Toyota is the only exception as no-one sees bright future for them. :)

And what is wrong with 5th position? Some (if not most) of you have expected them to finish 7th or 8th. In that perspective 5th would be great! ;)

Fifth would be great IF they manage it but unless the car is good I think they'll find themselves battling it off with Super Aguri for 7th or 8th again :p :

pity that alonso and raikkonen will not be able to get some mileage in their new teams though, will be interesting to see the lap times by them and the differences between them and their team mates after they begin testing
