Driving in France

Just looking up what requirements there are for driving in France.

I can see that a warning triangle is compulsory, but other than that there's nothing more than the UK requirements?

Unfortunately the documents I read make no mention of headlight defectors or the need to put a 'GB' sticker on the car so I fear they may not be complete.

They also set a set of replacement bulbs is 'recommended' but that means it's not compulsory, right?

Can anyone point me to an authoritive list that isn't just someones subjective edited highlights?!

- International Driving Permit
- GB Sticker or Blue thing at the front of number plate
- Insurance Documents
- Repoint the headlamps (because all cars in the UK dip left, they need to be adjusted so they dip right)
- Silly orange triangle
- Last Aid Kit or Lemon-aid kit
- Fire Extinguisher

Make sure you know how to go round roundabouts. Hundreds of the buggers. Like Rollo siad repointy things for headlights. Can pick up little things to stick on from Halfords or the like. Life insurance might be a good idea too, nutters the lot of them :)
