    Of course

Drama in here for the rally leader who has lost 13.1sec on the split to Bonato!
Front right tyre damage for the Spaniard. Loses 40.6sec total in the stage and drops out of the rally lead.

"I don't know [what happened]. There are a lot of ruts on the insides, maybe I touched something and I punctured."

Armstrong has been strong ! An impressive job and I'm delighted to see what he and the M-Sport Fiesta can do.

"It's been a good day, I tried to have a good rhythm in there but everything is getting really hot so it is more about managing tyres and managing brakes. But it's been a fantastic day and we'll see if we can carry it on tomorrow."

I appreciate the high speed accuracy on these roads which have no room for error. A lot of the drivers have said it's their favourite tarmac rally. Plus watching them and the scenery is pretty spectacular, especially from the heli.

    I agree with you.

Rally Islas Canarias is the favourite rally of Bonato, he always talks about it.

Franceschi has been awesome so far this year. He can realistically win the title.

A nice close battle all rally between the French guys. Very impressive pace against the locals. Even Paddon couldn't get anywhere near.

A good solid event for Jon Armstrong too, beating quite a few of the big names like Ostberg, Llarena, Cais, Mares, Sesks & Lukyanuk.
